The person at your door.
I have spent my whole life learning how dogs think, and we built Your Pet Companion so the dogs we know and love could get that same level of care at home.
How I got here
I have been working with dogs in some capacity since I was twelve years old. It started with neighborhood pet sitting and walking, which turned into hundreds of dogs and a life built around understanding them.
My first real teacher was our family dog, Bailey. He’s the reason I first started learning about dog behavior and training, long before I knew it would become my career. Then came Bear, a dog of my own that motivated and encouraged me to start taking this seriously as a profession.
From there, it grew in every direction. I worked at a dog bakery learning about nutrition, volunteered and fostered dogs with rescue groups in Dallas, went through every bit of education about dogs I could get my hands on, and eventually became a certified trainer teaching group and private lessons focused on obedience and behavior modification.
I have always been most interested in the psychology behind the behavior, and in building the kind of relationship between a dog and their owner where both of them actually get to thrive.
Building the daycare
When I joined The Dog Pawlour four years ago, I started as a kennel tech and quickly moved into running the daycare program. We made a lot of changes to continue enriching the lives of the dogs in our care. My brother, Christian, and I started from the ground up and helped shape the program into something we truly believe in.
We added training into the daily routine, incorporated play-based behavior modification, and built a program where dogs are actively guided and supported throughout the day, not just supervised. I hold my team to high standards across the board, because the dogs deserve consistency no matter who is handling them.
Your Pet Companion grew out of that same philosophy. Not every dog is a daycare dog, and some dogs grow out of it over time. Together with the Dog Pawlour team, we created YPC to provide personalized care for dogs who need something a little different, while giving their families peace of mind that their dogs are in good hands.

Why I do this
I’ve always believed that caring for dogs is about understanding who they are, what they need, and making sure they feel safe and cared for when their owners can’t be there. I love getting to know each dog as an individual and building relationships with their families, and being trusted with someone’s dog is something I take seriously. I want families to feel confident that their dog is being cared for the way I would want my own to be, and that’s a big part of what I want YPC to provide.
