What is Your Pet Companion?
The same team you know from the shop, now showing up at your front door. We are not trying to be everything to everyone. We are here to be the people you and your dog trust, available when you need us most.
Drop-In Visits
We come to your home, spend real one-on-one time with your dog, and leave things exactly as we found them. Every visit includes:
- Feeding and fresh water
- Potty break and yard time
- Medication administration (when discussed at meet & greet)
- Play, brushing, cuddles, or just some really good company
- A photo and a written report card after every single visit
Dog Walking
A real walk built around your dog, not a stopwatch. We customize every route to fit your dog’s needs, whether that means sticking to their favorite path, avoiding certain streets or triggers, or keeping things calm and low key. We also weave in positive reinforcement along the way so every walk doubles as a little training session too. Leash reactivity is never a dealbreaker. We work with your dog where they are.

We have been part of the Fort Collins community for over a decade, operating out of our College Ave location where our daycare family lives. We are a small business that genuinely cares about doing this right, and we are always looking for ways to grow our team, expand our reach, and do more for the families we already love.
How it works

Create your account
We use Time to Pet as our scheduling and communication platform. It only takes a few minutes to set up and is where you will manage bookings, share your dog’s routine and vet info, store home access details, and receive photo updates and report cards after every single visit. Everything about your dog, always at your fingertips!

Free Meet & Greet
We come to you! Your dog gets to meet their person in their own home, on their own turf. We sort out access, go over routine, talk through any quirks or needs, answer all of your questions, and make sure everything feels right before any service begins. Low pressure, completely free, and usually a lot of fun.

Book what you need
One visit or a standing weekly schedule, whatever works best for you and your dog. After every single visit you will receive a photo update and a written report card through Time to Pet so you always know exactly how your pup is doing and what their visit looked like!

Meet & Greet
Always free
- Additional pets are $5 each per service.
- Medication administration is included at no extra charge and must be discussed at the meet & greet.
- Cancel 24 or more hours ahead at no charge. Inside 24 hours, we bill 50% of the service.
- Book by the day before your visit. We will always try to fit in last minute requests, so it never hurts to ask!
- A mileage fee applies for clients outside our standard service area. Ask us for details.
Where we are and when we work
We are starting small on purpose. We only assign team members who have completed a meet & greet with your dog, always. If your regular person is unavailable, we will reach out to schedule a new meet & greet before anyone else steps through your door. Your dog deserves a familiar face and we take that seriously. As we grow, our reach grows with it!
Services are operated out of The Dog Pawlour College Ave location in Fort Collins, CO.

- We are currently serving select Fort Collins neighborhoods and adding more as the team grows. Rather than guess from a map, just tell us your street and we will give you a straight answer! We are tracking where requests come from and that is genuinely how we decide where to expand next, so reaching out helps even if the answer today is not yet.

- Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Weekends & overnights
- Not yet, but both are on the list as the business grows! Tell us what you need and we will factor it into how we plan our next steps. Your request genuinely matters to us.
- Who can book
- We are starting with our current Dog Pawlour families because you are the people who already know us and trust us, and we want to make sure we do this right before we open it wider. If you are not a current client but you are in the area, reach out anyway! We are a small business that wants to grow the right way and we will always be honest with you about where you stand.

Do you come to my neighborhood?
We are launching in a handful of Fort Collins neighborhoods and adding more as the team grows. The best way to find out is just to ask! Tell us your street and we will give you a real answer, not a vague maybe.
We keep track of where requests are coming from and that is genuinely how we decide where to go next, so reaching out helps even if we cannot cover you right now.
Who is actually coming into my home?
Someone you have already met! The person who comes to your door will be the same team member who completed your meet & greet whenever we can make that happen. We only ever assign team members who have done a meet & greet with your dog. If your regular person is ever unavailable, we will reach out to schedule a new meet & greet before sending anyone else.
Every Dog Pawlour team member is background checked, CPR and First Aid Certified, and extensively trained in dog handling and behavior. They are employees, not strangers from an app.
How do you get in?
We work out home access together at the meet & greet so by the time your first visit happens we already have a plan that feels comfortable and secure for you. Whether that is a lockbox, a key on the property, a garage code, or a smart lock, we will find what works and keep it safely documented in your Time to Pet profile.
That way everything is organized, easy to update, and always in a place you can access too!
Can you administer medication?
Yes, and there is no extra charge for it! We just ask that it is discussed openly at the meet & greet so we fully understand the medication, the dosage, the timing, and anything else we need to know to do it right. Your dog’s health and safety is always the priority.
What if I have more than one pet?
We love a full house! Additional pets are just $5 each per visit. Whether you have two dogs, a dog and a cat, or a whole crew, we are happy to make sure everyone gets the love and attention they deserve.
How far ahead do I need to book?
We ask that you book by the day before your visit so we can make sure everything is set and your dog’s person is ready to go. We will always do our best to work in last minute requests when we can, so it never hurts to reach out even if timing is tight!
What is the cancellation policy?
We ask for 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule so we can adjust our schedule and make sure our team is taken care of. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your appointment are always free. Inside 24 hours we do charge 50% of the service.
We completely understand that life happens! If something comes up just reach out as soon as you can and we will always work with you.
What happens if something goes wrong?
We take this seriously and we want you to know exactly what to expect. If anything happens during a visit, whether it is an injury, an illness, or anything unexpected, we will contact you immediately, document everything thoroughly, and handle it with care and urgency.
Our team carries a full first aid kit on every visit and is trained to respond calmly and quickly. You will never be left wondering what happened or what comes next. We are here, we are accountable, and we genuinely care about your dog as much as you do.
